MGK Reveals Baby Name With Megan Fox in Heartfelt Instagram Video

While longtime couple Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox have reportedly split, the duo appears to be doing well on the co-parenting front after welcoming their first child in March 2025.

MGK, whose real name is Colson Baker, and Fox got engaged in January 2022, but reportedly split late in 2024. Baker and Fox have both posted about their newborn daughter on social media, and on Tuesday, June 17, the musician took to social media to share some additional news.

MGK posted a video on Instagram while spending time with his daughter, whose hand can be seen in a bouncer while the musician plays music for her. The post also reveals the name of their daughter—Saga Blade Fox-Baker—and a message to Fox.

"Saga Blade Fox-Baker thank you for the ultimate gift @meganfox," MGK wrote with a flaming heart emoji.

While MGK appears to have the comments turned off on his post, Access Hollywood also put the video on its Instagram, and the reactions poured in from fans. Many fans reacted with heart emojis, smiley-face emojis with hearts and other comments sending well-wishes to Baker and Fox.

"Absolutely beautiful!!" said one fan. 

"i could cry, this is so cute! what an awesome name!" replied another.

"this is so cute , his little smile when she makes a noise," added a fan.

"AWWW OMG THATS SO CUTE!! i was just thinking about what they named her," read another comment.

"What a cool name!!! I bet they put a lot of thought in to it, and glad they were ready to share it with us," added one fan.

"OMG this is too adorable she wants to sing with her dad," read another reply.

According to People, a source says that Fox and Baker chose their daughter's name because it felt "really right."

"The name Saga, which means 'story' or 'tale' really felt right to them. It's a new chapter — full of meaning and hope," the source shares.

As far as the former couple goes, People reports that they currently live separately but "spend a lot of time together at Megan's house." The site's source says that Megan is doing "really well" and that MGK has been great and is "really trying to be the best dad he can."
