The Religion of Dieting

Sometimes the loudest and most ludicrous person peddling the most laughable stuff gets noticed the most. When did one's diet become a religion ? Watching a low carb versus high carb debate is like watching the Crusades; no horses or swords, just powerpoint slides, and straw man arguments. After two, mind-numbing hours you end up with a bunch of nothing—no opinions are changed and everyone's time is wasted. Everybody goes back to their cult-like tribes, ferociously posting their gripes on the internet.   read more from Fitness https://ift.tt/2N9jP4v via IFTTT

The Benefits of Intuitive Lifting

Have you ever shown up for a workout and aren't feeling it? What do you do? How do you make adjustments? Intuitively. That's how. My alarm goes off. I look at my phone and see that it is 5:30 am. I just went to bed five hours earlier because I was stuck in a Netflix binge-watching session.   As I get out of bed, I notice my back feels tight. I lethargically walk over to the coffee pot in hopes that the caffeine will be what I need to get me going for my morning workout.   read more from Fitness https://ift.tt/2zCbcMn via IFTTT

If you’re like us and only drink a bottle or two of pumpkin beer each fall, just look to our top picks. To the true pumpkin devotees, we hope you’ll dive in and enjoy the more inventive and skillfully developed pumpkin beers in America.     Many of our favorites test the boundaries of the style, with barrel-aging and wild yeast coming into play. But some of those beers, though delicious, were struck from the list because the pumpkin essence was overshadowed. Our list is designed to satisfy true pumpkin brew enthusiasts, and ranges from masterful takes on the classic spiced amber ale to earthy sours and creamy coffee stouts. The 101 Bes...

Unlike most supplements , these lab-made remedies—which claim that a capsule or liquid shot, taken just before you go to bed, will stop you from feeling like crap—just may help. However, some of the stuff is more legit than others.     Let’s start by dissecting the dreaded hangover itself . First, alcohol makes you dehydrated.
