After Hailey Bieber was announced as the upcoming cover model for the summer edition of Vogue Magazine, her superstar husband Justin Bieber took to social media to share a rather personal story, but fans are appreciating his openness.
In a post on Instagram on Tuesday, Justin opened up about a "huge fight" he had with Hailey where he told her that she would "never" be on the cover of Vogue Magazine out of anger.
"Yo this reminds me when Hailey and I got into a huge fight," Bieber wrote. "I told hails that she would never be on the cover of vogue."
"Yikes I know, so mean," he added.
Bieber explained that he made the harsh comment to "get even" at her during the argument after he felt "disrespected."
"For some reason because I felt so disrespected," Justin wrote. "I thought I gotta get even.."

Obviously, Bieber now understands that he is wrong to say something so hurtful, and he was also totally incorrect in his prediction.
"I think as we mature we realize that we’re not helping anything by getting even," he wrote. "We’re honestly just prolonging what we really want which is intimacy and connection."
"So baby u already know but forgive me for saying u wouldn’t get a vogue cover cuz clearly i was sadly mistaken," he wrote.
It was an undeniably personal story, and it led to some mixed reactions, with some praising Justin for the transparency and giving some real insight into their relationship, and others believing he should have simply kept the story private.
"This is Growth! One person rising despite the noise and the other doubling back with a little more honesty than pride - truly happy for yall," one person wrote in the comments of the post.
"This caption feels unnecessary. It's ok to keep some things private," one person added.
"Thank you for being so vulnerable and transparent. What a great sign of emotional maturity Justin you really are doing a great job working on yourself Man she was there during the disrespect because she always saw the best version and believed it even when you couldn’t! That’s a wife," someone else commented.
"I think some things should be kept between husband and wife too," another person wrote.
"He is just over here being open and honest about the ups and downs of marriage, and y'all are dogging him lmao some of you are just not mature enough for real love and it shows lol," someone else said, responding to anyone criticizing him.
"Some things just don't need to be shared publicly Justin," another fan wrote.
"When we are angry, we speak without thinking. I understand you! Anyone who has never done this is lying. The important thing is to recognize that you made a mistake and not make the same mistake again. Love conquers all, overcomes everything," someone else pointed out.
"At least he is honest and not painting his relationship like picture perfect like we often see on social media.. as long as he recognizes his mistakes and strive to do better.. he is human," another fan added.
Regardless, it's clear that Bieber is proud of his wife's major accomplishment.
