McDonald’s Announces Egg McMuffin Deals and Beloved Item’s Nationwide Return

McMuffin fans, rejoice! In honor of the beloved breakfast item’s 50th anniversary, McDonald’s is offering an unbeatable deal this weekend.

On Sunday, March 2—which happens to be National Egg McMuffin Day—you can grab an Egg McMuffin or Sausage Egg McMuffin for just $1 exclusively in the McDonald’s app. While that deal is only valid for a single day, McDonald’s is offering a McMuffin bargain throughout the rest of March. Beginning on March 3 and running through March 30, you can get a BOGO Sausage McMuffin with Egg with any McDelivery order placed in the McDonald’s app.

In another exciting bit of Golden Arches news, the chain has finally made its beloved Bagel Sandwiches available at restaurants nationwide. “Whether you love the classic Bacon, Egg & Cheese or the iconic Steak, Egg & Cheese, McDonald’s has you covered, no matter where you are,” the company said in a press release.

McDonald’s has also begun introducing Krispy Kreme donuts to its stores. The chain said last year they planned to have freshly baked Kripsy Kreme donuts for sale at all locations across the U.S. by the end of 2026. On Feb. 25, McDonald’s introduced Krispy Kreme donuts to its New York locations. The Big Apple joins fellow major cities Chicago, Cleveland, Indianapolis, Pittsburgh and Louisville in the Krispy Kreme/McD’s game. McDonald’s estimates that more than half of its restaurants will stock the donuts by the end of this year.
