50 Cent Reveals Dramatic 40-Pound Weight Loss

Rapper 50 Cent has been sporting a noticeably slimmer figure as of late, and this week the 48-year-old admitted to an over 40-pound weight loss. However, unlike other celebrities who have turned to the weight loss drug Ozempic—such as Oprah Winfrey, Sharon Osbourne, and Tracy Morgan—Fiddy was clear that he dropped the pounds through hard work and hard work alone.

"Everybody talking about weight loss. I was in the gym. I was working the f--k out, man," said 50 Cent, also known by his birth name, Curtis Jackson, in a short video posted to Instagram. "Who says Ozempic? I was running. I was running! I was doing what I had to do. You seen me on tour! I ran around, I was 253 pounds, I came down, I'm 210 right now. So how you feel about it?"

The "In da Club" rapper may have been addressing fans who have inquired about his dramatic weight loss in the comments. In another recent Instagram post in which he appeared to be in excellent physical shape, 50 Cent attributed his newfound abstinence to helping him reach his goals.

"I’m focused man, practicing abstinence is helping me train harder," he captioned a series of photos earlier this week, appearing in a slim-fitted printed sports jacket and jeans. "I feel great, I think more people should try it."

Fiddy previously opened about about his decision to give up sex earlier this month. "My new idea is so big, I don’t have time to be distracted," he wrote on Jan. 9. "I’m practicing abstinence. I have been meditating and focusing on my goals. I hope this New Year helps you excel to the next level."

Well, whatever he's doing, clearly it seems to be working.
